Mickey Fornaro-Dean has resigned as executive director of Harvey County Economic Development Inc.
Jaci Reimer, who sits on the board for the group, made the announcement in a press release sent out Thursday.
“We wish her the best in all her future endeavors,” Reimer stated.
“This was based solely on the board deciding that we needed to go into a different direction,” Reimer later said in an interview.
Fornaro-Dean had served as executive director for Harvey County Eco Devo for 18 years.
The organization is funded by Harvey County Cities as well as the county itself to spur economic development and maintain business and industry in the county.
